• Turkey Work Poufs $50

  These are fluffy puffed-up bunches of stitches that take a lot of thread and time, they are fun ways to add texture and interest to pieces as they can look like moss, clouds, or short 3D grass (scroll through the images on the right for example images) Popular in Nature Pieces, Character Pieces, and Landscape Pieces

• Needle Felted Elements $25

  Using wool felt and a needle I can sculpt 3D additions to your piece, in the past I have used this technique to create mushrooms, rocks, moss, clouds, and even the moon. (scroll through the images to the right for example images) Popular in Nature Pieces, Character Pieces, and Landscape Pieces

• Wire Slip Stumpwork $100

  These are essentially small scale 3D embroideries that I create using wire and thread painting, they are very time consuming and labor intensive but they can take a piece of art to an entirely different level when used properly, I love using this technique to create 3D leaves, branches, and flowers, please keep in mind that when getting this add on it will more than likely extend the timeline of me working on the custom piece. (scroll through the images on the right for example images) Popular in Nature Pieces, Character Pieces, and Landscape Pieces, I think it would be an awesome touch in a pet portrait as well

• Beading $10

  Using a variety of beads can be a fun way to play with textures and add interest in a custom piece, these can be used as flowers, drops of dew, or as texture in plants or moss. (scroll through the images on the right for an example image) Popular in Nature pieces

• Additional Thread Painted Elements $50

  Thread painting is the main technique I use in my art, it consists of taking a single strand of thread and “shading” between different colors to create a seamless blending effect, 100% of my pieces will have Thread painting within the base piece already, however if we want to add additional items in the portrait other than the main focal point then this will be considered an “additional Thread Painted Element” In example if I am working on a portrait of a cat I can also add in some of its favorite toys as an upcharge, another example would be if I am doing a portrait of a turtle, I can have the turtle surrounded by a certain type of flower in which case the flowers would be an upcharge. Popular in Pet & Animal Portraits

• Felt underlays $10

  I can also incorporate a layered effect using felt to create a “landing point” or a focus point for the main character in a piece which can create a lot of visual interest and draws the eye right to the main event (Scroll down through the images on the right to see an example photo) Popular with Fan Art & Character pieces

• Framing $100 starting point

  If you would like your piece to be framed, we can discuss some options, if you want a circular embroidery hoop frame, I can refer you to a wonderful contact however I cannot provide them it would have to be ordered direct from a different seller and separate of our transaction, however, If you are ok with a rectangular or square frame, these are more readily available and I can choose something that I feel suits the art piece and we can discuss your color preferences, my embroideries they tend to have 3D elements so if I am framing in a traditional rectangular frame I would be removing the glass.
